Welcome to "Bahir Zaf", the first TREE restaurant in Africa!

Located in a beautiful lush garden in the very heart of Addis Ababa, Bahir Zaf’s doors just opened. In common with the other TREE restaurants, it will provide guests with a creative culinary experience, enhanced with distinct local influences in a wonderful environment.

In the local Amharic language, "Bahir Zaf " means "ocean tree". The tree symbolizes caring for communities and branching out to protect those in need - much like the restaurant which provides training for young people who are building their futures.
Check out our mouth-watering menu.
